Never shopped online before or never shopped at EasyToShopHere.com before? Don't worry, we will now talk you through the necessary steps that will help you to make your first purchase online:
1) Use the menu on the left of every page (Including this one) to select the first category you want to visit under the 'SHOP MENU'. You can think of this as being the same as walking down different aisles at a supermarket.
2) You can view the different products available in that category by using the 'Next' page button at the bottom of each page or the 'Previous' page button to return to one of the previous pages you have looked at. This is a bit like walking up and down an aisle at the supermarket.
Once you enter a particular category at EasyToShopHere.com you will find a number of sub-categories appear on your left-hand menu that are relevant to the particular category you are browsing. For example, if you are browsing the 'Toys' category you would see categories like 'Action Figures' appear on your left. This helps you narrow down the category by only showing relevant products from a sub-category of your choice.
3) As you browse through the online shop you can click on any of the shop images or product titles. This is much like picking up an item at the supermarket. This then takes you to a page with more details which is comparable to reading the back of the box at your supermarket or department store. You can then either click the button marked: 'Add to Shopping Cart', if you intend to buy the item or you can click 'Previous Page'. You will find the 'Previous Page' link at the top of the 'SHOP MENU' on the left. By clicking 'Previous Page' this will return you to the list of items you were viewing.
4) Every time you add a product/item to your cart by clicking: 'Add to Shopping Cart', this is like adding products to a basket/trolley at the supermarket. Anywhere on our site that you see a trolley or basket image or the words: 'Shopping Cart', you may click any of those images/links with your mouse. This will enable you to view those items that you have added to your shopping cart already. Just like if you were shopping at a supermarket, you can take products out of your shopping cart at anytime by clicking the 'Delete' key next to any item(s) that you do not wish to buy.
5) If you still cannot find what you are looking for then try our search tool located at the top of this and every page on EasyToShopHere.com. To use it, firstly type in what you are looking for and then secondly, select a category from the drop down menu. Finally, click the button marked 'Search Shop'. This will enable you to quickly find what you are looking for.
Tip: Navigate to the exact sub-category your product is in using the menu on the left and then just enter what you are looking for (keyword) in the box at the top of that page. There is then no need to select a category as the search will automatically search the sub-category you are in.
When entering a keyword into the search tool it is sometimes better to be very specific to avoid receiving hundreds of search results. For example, 'spiderman action figure', is better than searching for 'action figure' or for just 'spiderman'.
6) Once you are happy that you have everything you need, you can click 'Proceed to checkout'. You will find this link each time you add a product to your shopping cart. It will be on the shopping cart page which you can also reach directly by clicking on the 'Shopping Cart' link found at the top of each page in our shop.
Once you have clicked the 'Proceed to checkout' button, follow the instructions to 'continue' (This enables you to confirm your order) and 'Proceed to checkout' again. After this you will be asked if you are an 'existing customer' or a 'new customer'. You should select 'New Customer' if you are not a registered customer.
1) I add items to my shopping cart and then they disappear from my cart, why is that?
Our site uses a 'cookie' to track the items you have added to your shopping cart. In this instance, a cookie is a harmless, very small file we save on your computer. It is a bit like taking a ticket at the meat/cheese counter at your supermarket and then when it is your turn to be served the server will know that because of your ticket number. Well there is no queuing online of course but with hundreds or thousands of shopping carts (baskets/trolleys of items) being stored online then this is our way of being able to determine which shopping cart is yours. Therefore, to rectify this problem, please ensure 'cookies' are enabled on your web browser e.g. Internet Explorer.
